For our 22nd Anniversary, your donation of just $22 will help us save the lives of even more homeless animals.

22 Years of
Rescue, Shelter, and Adoption

In 1990, our founder, Peggy Barnish, established Hooterville Pet Safehaus with the belief that there could be an animal shelter where euthanasia was a last resort, used only to ease suffering from injury or illness, and where every adoptable cat and dog would eventually find their forever home.
