Cousin Vinnie’s Verdict Is In

Cousin Vinnie doesn’t only practice feline law; he has also passed the bar in lap-sitting, bird-watching, and purring.

Cousin Vinnie is currently a proud resident of our foster care program. What brought him to foster care? He’s such a fun and exuberant personality—too big for shelter life! He’s playful, active, and engaging. He wasn’t made to spend time in a kennel—and sometimes got a little swatty with us if he felt too cooped up that day.

That big personality has bloomed in his foster home. With more room to be himself, Vinnie is a star. Here’s what his foster, Alethea, has to say about him: “Cute, curious, cuddly, that’s Cousin Vinnie! His cool ear tufts, gorgeous green eyes, and thick velvety coat are hard to resist. Then follow that up with his musical chirping and his adorable habit of flopping and stretching to his full length and you will be smitten! He purrs on contact and has quite the robust purr. It’s awesome. He’s awesome. Full of life, he’ll fill yours with lots of joy.”

Sound like the right cat for you? If you’re interested in meeting Cousin Vinnie, all you need to do is call us and ask to set up an appointment to meet him. Our cat foster coordinator, Laurel, will arrange a time to visit Cousin Vinnie in his foster home. After meeting, if it seems like a good fit, you can take him home that day! We promise it’ll be worth it when this sweet guy is purring up a storm in your arms.

Because he can get a little swatty when excited, Vinnie is seeking a home with teenagers and adults. He came to us with limited history, so we’re unsure if he’s lived with other cats or dogs before.
