Homeward Pet’s Public Spay & Neuter Clinic
Learn how you can sponsor a clinic day for pets in need in our community.
The Homeward Pet Spay/Neuter clinic offers low-cost spay and neuter surgeries for dogs & cats of reduced income families in our community.
Scheduling an Appointment
Appointments are required.
Pets must be at least 4 months of age before setting up their appointment. No more than 3 cats or 2 dogs from your household can be scheduled on any given day. Each animal must be scheduled as a separate appointment. Do not group animals into a single appointment.
All appointments are now scheduled from this page only. Most new surgery dates open up at 9:00 a.m. on Friday mornings.
Once you schedule an appointment you will receive an instant email confirmation. Open this immediately and complete the paperwork or your appointment may be cancelled.
If you find that there are no appointments available when you look on Fridays then then we are either full or a date is not going to open. We do not have a waitlist, but checking for appointments any other time may show additional open spaces other days of the week.
Currently, the majority of clinic surgery days are Mondays. All Monday surgery days are only cat days or only dog days, so both will not open on the same date. Appointment drop off is at 9:00 a.m. and animals will be ready for pick up at 4:00 p.m. on the same day.

Last Litter Program
Through our Last Litter Program, we are able to offer free spay surgeries for cats and dogs that are brought to our shelter with adoptable litters. Your mama cat or dog is spayed in our clinic, and she returns home with you the same day.
The kittens or puppies are surrendered to our shelter where they will be examined by our veterinarian, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before being adopted.
This program is subject to available space and resources. To learn more about this program, or to apply for assistance, please visit our Last Litter Program info page.
