Homeward Pet Adoption Center (HPAC) is one of the largest, nonprofit no-kill animal shelters in the Seattle area. Our mission is to give homeless animals a second chance through our rescue, shelter, and adoption programs. There are many ways that you can have a direct impact on the cats and dogs at Homeward Pet Adoption Center.

Adopt – View them on line, then visit Homeward Pet to meet in person. You might find your new furry best friend of either the canine or feline persuasion!

Donate – Homeward Pet relies entirely on tax-deductible gifts. Every dollar donated goes a long way to care for the homeless cats and dogs until they are able to find permanent homes. Another way to boost your donation is through your company’s matching program.

Foster – Care for cats or dogs in your home until they are ready for adoption. This allows Homeward Pet to increase the number of animals served and allows us to gain a better understanding of each animal’s unique personality.

Volunteer – Care for cats or dogs while they are in the shelter. This includes walk a dog, clean kennels and socializing kittens.

Donate Wish List Items – There are items that the shelter needs to function. You can donate these much needed items.

  • Visit http://Kuranda.com/donate and donate a Kuranda bed.
  • Organize a donation drive using Homeward Pet’s Wish List.
  • Make purchases at Amazon.com through this link, Amazon.com, and Amazon will make a donation to Homeward Pet.

Spread the word – Let your friends, family and coworkers know about Homeward Pet and the important work we are doing to care for and find homes for homeless cats and dogs. It is one of the most important things you can do. The more people looking to adopt, donate and get involved, the more we can increase our ability to help in the community. One way to do this is to forward our Wish List to everyone you know.
