Pay It Forward Adoptions

Our Pay It Forward Program offers the chance to pre-pay the adoption fee for any of our adult animals or younger animals with special needs.

With the adoption fee paid through Pay It Forward, adoptive families can devote more to the care of their new pet – or they can choose to Pay it Forward for another pet that is still waiting for their next home. 

Cat Fees
Kittens: $200/$325 pair
Adolescent Cats (6 months-2 years): $175
Adult Cats (2 years-8 years): $130
Senior Cats/Special Needs: $75

Dog Fees
Puppies: $450
Adolescent and Adult Dogs (6 months-8 years):

  • Small: $350
  • Large: $300

Senior/Special Needs:

  • Small: $250
  • Large: $150

Homeward Pet's mission is to transform the lives of cats and dogs in need through compassionate medical care, positive behavior training, and successful adoption while building a more humane community.
Regular open hours are Tuesday - Sunday, 11:30am - 5:30pm for questions about adopting, donation drop-offs or other services. Our lobby is closed on Mondays for anything other than adoptions. Adoptions are primarily by appointment, Monday-Sunday, 12:00pm - 2:30pm and 3:30pm - 5:00pm. Walk ins accepted if staffing allows.
