Inspired by the care we were able to provide to a beautiful black lab named Whoopi years ago, Whoopi’s Fund for Animals with Special Needs is a fund dedicated solely to providing extraordinary medical care to animals in need – treatments, testing and major surgeries that are beyond what many shelters can provide in-house.

In 2024, 396 animals benefited from our Whoopi’s Fund for Extraordinary Care; receiving surgery, medication, or therapy to improve their quality of life.
