The Next Pet Mayor of Woodinville

Does your pet have the charisma to lead Woodinville – even for one day? Get ready to enter our Pet Mayor for a Day contest and put your four-legged friend in office!

The winning pet will be honored with an official “paw-clamation” and photo op at a personal meeting with Mayor Sarah Arndt, take a tour of the mayor’s office, and receive a custom yard sign with your pet’s face to proudly display the most exciting election result of 2026!

And the best part? Your support in this contest raises funds for our vital services which include animal sheltering and adoptions, veterinary care, behavior modification and counseling, Food Bank programs, rescue support and much more.

It’s easy to participate! Submit your favorite photo of your pet from August 27 through September 11, then get your family and friends to vote for your pet’s picture during the September 1-11 election period.

Regular open hours are Tuesday - Sunday, 11:30am - 5:30pm for questions about adopting, donation drop-offs or other services. Our lobby is closed on Mondays for anything other than adoptions. Adoptions are primarily by appointment, Monday-Sunday, 12:00pm - 2:30pm and 3:30pm - 5:00pm. Walk ins accepted if staffing allows.
