On Tuesday, we received a transport of 16 animals from Yakima Valley Pet Rescue, including this mom and her 4 Chiweenie puppies.  The 5-week old pups are now in foster care (with mom), being loved and socialized and learning to play with toys and eat dog food.  They’ll be available for adoption when they’re old…

Homeward Pet was our 7th and final stop in checking shelters. If we didn’t meet a dog we fell in love with that day then we were going to keep watching sites and go back another time. I’ve come from a background of giant breed dogs and my fiancé had always had medium sized dogs….

Carmen is doing great! She has fit right into our family. She has a favorite fur brother and is constantly playing all the way til 1-2 am! You’d think being a senior, at 9 yrs of age with arthritic legs, she’d be more mellow but she keeps up with the 4 yr old boxer. Thank you!
