Why do you volunteer your time as a board member?
I came to Homeward Pet because of the dogs; I stayed for the people. The dedication, love and passion that our staff and volunteers bring to their jobs — and to finding all animals the right home — is inspiring. And as a board member, I get to ensure that we stay true to our mission and grow in ways where we can do more.

2026 committees: Executive (Board Secretary), Governance, DEI (chair)

Our current pup is a 7-year-old rescue pitbull named Arthur. Two of our previous dogs, Duchess and Hannah, were Homeward Pet alumni. Both were senior pups who landed the best retirement home ever!
