Rubin possesses more than 30 years in fund development and marketing among the corporate and nonprofit sectors, and is thrilled to align his passion for animal-welfare with Homeward Pet’s mission. Rubin has extensive experience serving many of Seattle’s most esteemed nonprofits including; KEXP Public Radio, The Seattle Symphony and KCTS Public Television.

“I am honored to serve Homeward Pet Adoption Center and am committed to improving and saving the lives of homeless animals,” Rubin says.

The Board has the utmost confidence that Rubin will apply his nonprofit fundraising expertise, marketing skillsets and strong leadership qualities to foster the continued growth and success of Homeward Pet Adoption Center.

Rubin holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Georgia as well as a B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of Oregon. He currently resides in Kirkland with his three rescue dogs Rosie, Freddie and Newie, and his feline companion, Gray Cat. Rubin will succeed outgoing Director, Terri Inglis, who served the organization for nearly ten years.
